Event Information
Florida Dental Convention is an annual event organized by the Florida Dental Association, bringing together dental professionals from across the state and beyond to learn, connect, network, and discover the latest industry trends and technologies. Proclaiming, “your future, your design,” FDC features 300+ industry vendors, 130+ courses; events, parties, VIP opportunities, and free exhibit hall passes for all dental professionals. All social events are included in your registration, plus attendees enjoy discounts at a popular local theme park.
The Florida Dental Convention offers approximately 20 hours of CE credits.
“All verified course attendance will be automatically submitted to CE Broker for Florida-licensed attendees…To receive credit for course attendance, attendees must scan their badge upon entering and exiting each course. The system will calculate the amount of time an attendee was present and award the credit appropriately. Per the Florida Board of Dentistry, in order to receive one hour of CE credit, attendees must be present in a course a minimum of 50 of 60 minutes.” (Source: Florida Dental Association site)
Guests/spouses may attend the convention, but must register and may not register for courses. All non-dental guests including children ages 8-18 must be registered within a dental professional attendee’s registration. Children under the age of 8 do not need to register to enter the Exhibit Hall, but strollers/carriages are prohibited with the exceptions of medical necessity and during the designated stroller hours: 9:00am – 11:00am Saturday, July 1.
